The plans are for both a working bee and some flying on both this Saturday and Sunday. One aim being to move one or both of the Blaniks to safe storage at Bothwell.
Dinner is proposed for the Ross Pub Saturday evening with some folks overnighting at the club house.
Please come along and assist if you are able.
The weather looks great for working and flying this weekend and the relocation work is now picking up. The aim this weekend is the removal of several unused gliders and some rubbish in preparation for the big move to the Tunbridge airfield. We also will be removing the cladding from the northern hanger annexe and if time allows, removing the framing.
Enjoy the comradery and rest easier in we are moving forward more rapidly now with moving the club to Tunbridge Airfield – BUT we do need helpers and all are welcome.
We are also asking for tax-deductible donations through the Australian Sports Foundation so any donation will be greatly received. We estimate we will need considerable funds for the hanger purchase/relocation and other facilities. Our aim is to raise up to $100k.
Many thanks in advance,
