Sunday 13th Sept. turned out pretty much as expected. We had seven flights the longest being flown by Reg Marron in the Libelle of 50min. towards the end of the day.
The wind forecast was spot on with a 10 knot westerly upstairs (ground wind was N.W.) showing up about 3.00pm. This induced some wave which was contacted at 1500’ abeam Tunbridge off of the end of runway 36. The wave was smooth and maxed out at 4 knots up in places, allowing GRF to ascend to 4000’.
Thanks to all participants who were there and made the day run smoothly.
