SCOT updates

01/05/2017

The weather may be getting cooler as we move towards winter but there was some great flying again last weekend with ridge soaring, training flights and some trial instruction flights. We fly every Sunday and occasionally Saturday as well right through the year weather pending.

As well as the flying, there is the regular glider maintenance and also other maintenance that is required on occasions. Below the team are attaching a replacement wind sock under the guidance of the club president, Reg.

The next project to be undertaken is the replacement of our fresh water tank over the next month which will restore our water to drinkable quality. The old tanks are completely rusted out.

After the water tank replacement, we are planning a long overdue upgrade of the bathroom around June or July by plastering/painting, tiling and replacing the toilet and hand-basin. This will bring the bathroom up to a much better standard than exists at the present.
